Will it work on every customer's phone?

Every iPhone from XS (2018) onward and almost every Android made since 2017 read NFC automatically with no app. For older phones, the printed QR code on the back of the stand provides 100% coverage.

Do I need to set up the chip myself?

No. The stand is pre-programmed with your Google review short-link in our Ontario workshop before it ships. Open the box, place it on the counter, done.

Will it ever wear out?

The acrylic stand is built for daily counter use. Treat it like a sign, not a device.

What if my Google review URL changes?

Email info@can-tap-verified.com with your new link and we will tell you what the change involves.

1. Phone compatibility

Will it work on your customers' phones?

Apple iPhone

NFC works automatically on every iPhone from the iPhone XS (2018) onward without opening an app. iPhone 7 and 8 also have NFC but ask the user to enable the reader from the control center.

Android

Nearly every Android phone made since 2017 has background NFC reading on by default. As long as the screen is awake, it reads the stand the moment the phone touches it.

Built-in fallback: every CAN-TAP stand has a permanent QR code printed on the back. If a customer is holding a phone from 2015, they flip the stand and scan. Newer phones tap, older phones scan.

We do not sell blank cards. When you order, you provide your business name. Our team in Port Colborne, Ontario permanently locks your Google review short-link onto the NFC chip inside the stand before it ships.
