No. Buying the kit starts your online business record. Its status reads "Pending review" until the evidence behind it is reviewed. Payment never grants verification.
What is the door badge for?
Three blue scalloped-check "CAN-TAP VERIFIED BUSINESS" door stickers, each 4 × 4 inches, for your doors or windows. They tell customers the business is verified before they walk in, like a verified check for a storefront.
What does a customer do at the counter stand?
They tap their phone on the stand and the review page you gave us at checkout opens in their browser. What they write, and whether they write anything, is up to them.
Will my business page link to my website?
Yes, once your record passes review. Your business page on can-tap-verified.com and your listing in your city’s directory both link to the website you give us. Before review there is no approved CAN-TAP evidence profile, and we do not promise any change in search rankings.
When does the kit ship?

Your online record is included for 12 months from activation. After that, renewing is optional: C$49 per year, and we never charge it automatically. If you do not renew, the record shows as expired. The door badges, the counter stand, and the tap to your chosen page keep working either way. Renewing never grants verification; that still depends on evidence review.
